Every clothing company out there, should have some sort of line sheet, catalog, lookbook…etc. When contacting any sort of retail store, that will be the first thing they ask from you…”Can we take a look at your line sheet?”
When we first started out as a company, honestly we had no idea what a “Line Sheet” was. Now, that we’ve done our research, we have one eye popping catalog for all retailers to examine.
A simple yet very effective way to create a line sheet; Buy a basic report folder(s), print pages of your products with high quality ink, and be sure to include every detail about your product. Colorways, material, print type…etc. Also make sure to toss contact info all over your line sheet, for retailers to reach you! Slide all your pages into plastic sheets, to make them look professional. Attach the plastic sheets into your report folder(s), add a cover page, business card and some order forms and you’re ready to go!
Today, we will be hitting up several stores, with our updated line sheets/catalogs, in reguards to getting our products sold inside their stores. We’ll be stopping through Claremont, Upland, Long Beach, and Fullerton…Wish us luck!
