In the beginning.
Electro Beat started in June 2007.
Brothers, Edwin and Joel, who happen to also be owner and co-owner of Electro Beat Apparel, were in a band called “A Change of Heart” all throughout High School.
(September 2003 – April 2007). With a D.I.Y. background, self taught in desiging all their own t-shirts, stickers, flyers, merch…etc, the band noticeably became more and more well known. As popularity grew, differences throughout the band memebers quickly followed.
The band slowly died out, soon after…

Edwin, began doing simple design work for several bands, getting some cash here and there, while Joel joined a new band called “Touch Response”. Soon realizing that graphic design could make a decent living, Edwin started up Electro Beat Designs, a graphic design company…Which soon fell into designing personal t-shirts, which eventually evolved into Electro Beat Apparel.
The first year of Electro Beat, things started off small. A lot of Myspace promoting, passing out flyers, sponsoring bands…etc. Edwin sponsored his brothers band Touch Response, and began setting up at their shows and selling Electro Beat merchandise.
A little after a year of Joel joining Touch Response, he decided to leave the band to help Edwin with Electro Beat, full time. Touch Response soon broke up, after that…

Electro Beat
Electro Beat has been making a name for itself, ever since the day it began. With ads in several magazines, tent space at many shows and festivals including; Bamboozle Left 2009, Rockin’ Roots Fest 2009 and Chain Reaction, band endorsements to radio shows and braking into the retail catagorey, there’s no telling what the future may hold.

How the name “Electro Beat” came about.
The name Electro Beat, came from lyrics of a song, by a band we use to play with in A Change of Heart called “The Ready Aim Fire…!”. The song was called “I Thought I Heard Sirens” and the lyrics were “…But back on the coast, it seems. Your blood boils to Electro Beats.”
